4 points in the first 4 minutes. Not the start anybody wanted. Team hasn’t been able to score at all in these high major games.
Long way to go but need a run here before this game gets out of hand.
Yes Brad Davison is a real cry baby.

Honestly, the three point defense hasn’t been horrible, they’ve just been hot. I expect that to regress in the second half.

I know the network caters to big 10 fans, but I’d be okay if I never had to hear Brian Butch call a game ever again. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was jumping up and down every time they made a bucket....worse than listening to Aikman call a Cowboys game.

I agree with something I read in a different thread some time ago: We desperately need to have a traditional big man in this mix. We pass the ball around the perimeter then pump up a three or get stuffed trying to force something inside where we are vastly outsized. I don't understand how not having a big man is actually a conscious strategy? It seems obvious in watching these types of games we need that position. I don't believe we can't get someone to fill that role - recruit at a level that is appropriate and get him.

What’s concerning is that Linc has never brought in a traditional big since he’s been at GB. I’m not sure if it’s because he hasn’t been able to recruit a big man or if he hasn’t wanted a true big because it doesn’t fit RP40, but either way, I just don’t think you can win consistently at this level without size and strength down low. Might work in division 2, but not in division 1.

So what’s up Tank? Just resting him for the games that matter?
Team is so damn frustrating, need to put a full game together. Played light years better in the second half.
So when does Amari get put in the starting line up? Kid can obviously play and always seems to give us that burst we need. Could help us not get into a hole to begin games.

Wisconsin shot the lights out and once again the deficit was too much too early to really make it a game. Looking forward to next week and a couple of mid major opponents. CSUN has given up a ton of points and Colgate has been tested similar to GB with P6 schools. Important to play well with 4 straight road games after Thanksgiving.

UW made all of the right passes and then made pretty much every shot to start the game. They dominated on the glass early as well. Compared to GB starting cold with a few turnovers and the game was over before it began.
The guys kept battling and made it interesting for a bit but it was too late. When they put extra pressure on the ball late and UW made all of the right passes again pushing out to a comfortable margin of victory.
Davis, McCloud, Schwartz, Crist and McNair played well for most of their minutes. Pipes, Kam, Manny and Tre played hard but never caught a flow. Tre needs to find his mojo because when he is rolling he is a very tough match up.
I did see some nice action for Davis and he got in spots to go with his strong hand to the rim. Also, GB ran some nice baseline out of bounds sets to get some second half buckets.
On to the next with teams that should present tough but winnable challenges.
