Low level D3 game...gross is one of several words I can think of to describe this. Who is the opponent for the last game to be scheduled? Lakeland U or Rockford College......again?

It appears McNeese State is not coming to GB for Legends Classic. They are playing Richmond, New Mexico, Wisconsin and an non D1. GB will play CSUN and Colgate.

Colgate will only play one game against a high major and two in GB. Are Colgate and CSUN playing against against each other on either 11/24 in front of zero fans before each playing GB on the next two days? If that is the case that sucks. I was kind of looking forward to seeing two games on the same day in GB and having a real subregional. Did the high majors not want to play Colgate because they are supposed to be good? Did McNeese not want to play mid majors and risk a loss? Was it some other scheduling conflict? This schedule makes this tournament look a little sketchy. Also, GB was supposed to have a game with Wisconsin this year as part of their contract. Did that get moved back to next year? I can't imagine GB would want to release UW from that buy game contract.

Ideally Green Bay would want to play the first and last day and get a day off in between. The logistics probably do not work out for that. I was looking forward to a couple of double headers each day at the Resch but not it looks like it will be CSUN vs Colgate on a Packer Sunday with no GB game- no thanks. This event seemed like a simple concept that really backfired.

Yeah this is kind of disappointing. Detroit Mercy hosted this exact same event last year and it was a four-team bracket style tournament with doubleheaders on November 19 and 20. From the official release, GB will take on CSUN on Monday the 25th and Colgate on the 26th: Subregional Schedule - Kress Center Sunday, November 24 - CSUN vs. Colgate 8 p.m. Monday, November 25 - CSUN vs. Green Bay 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 26 - Colgate vs. Green Bay 7 p.m. greenbayphoenix.com/news/2019/8/21/mens-basketball-hosting-the-legends-classic-subregional-green-bay-to-face-csun-and-colgate.aspxIt also looks like last year the tournament was streamed on FloHoops.com instead of ESPN+. I think FloHoops is behind a paywall as well for anyone who doesn't feel like making the trek to the Kress for these games.

phearthephoenix.proboards.com/thread/1008/2019-2020-schedule?page=4A few quick thoughts The past few years GB seemed to ease into the conference schedule with the favorites coming late- not the case at all this year. First three games are @wsu, @nky vs UIC. A Saturday night game at the Resch vs Milwaukee should bring out a nice crowd. Big fan of the Saturday night games. Friday night home game at Kress should be the annual "Homecoming Game" Big home/road stands may have to do with Resch Center availability. Road game at IUPUI is a 10am start on a Thursday. IUPUI does this as a field trip game for students. I remember watching Oakland play in this game last year.

If IUPUI wants to do something like this, I wish they’d do it for a meaningless non conference game, or maybe a woman’s game.

[/quote] In fairness to IUPUI they are doing this in a meaningless conference game, at least for them! The good news is the last two years they have done this and drew maybe 2000 people. I agree the start time sucks for players and as a fan that will hurt my work productivity for 2 hours as well.
