Here's Rob Demovsky's all-state D1 awardsVery cool seeing Brown and Sykes on the lists. Sykes is the only freshman. This list shows the importance of experience, 7 of the ten players were 4th year players (Berggren and Evans were RS juniors). It is exciting knowing Green Bay will start to have some experience next year, to go along with 2 players who should be 1st team all-state. I have no major disagreements with the selections. I'd have given the defensive award to Ryan Evans. Gasser and Cerroni tied for the shooter award. Both had a great 3 point shooting %, but Cerroni is a far better shooter, Gasser only shoots when he's completely wide open. Which MU players will replace DJO and Crowder on this list next year? I'll guess Wilson and Mayo. Will UWM have a player make the list next year? Haarsma would be the best guess, but I don't see anything more than a 2nd teamer. He isn't better than Cougill, but Haarsma will be the focal point of their offense. Will Josh Gasser make a successful switch to PG next year? Could Green Bay get a 3rd player on this list next year?

You should read the article in the Journal/Sentinel today. According to Jeter they only need a little tweeking and should have a chance to win the Horizon League? Sounds to me like more patting on his own back. Answering your question, yes GB does have a chance for a 3rd player on this list. It could be Cougill, Kam or one of the others may take a big step forward after a year in the system.
