I have mixed thoughts about this. I have never once called the ticket office and had a good experience. I normally talk to some student who doesn't know anything about tickets and is busy studying or being on social media and doesn't really want to figure out how to help. I assume this stops with this news.
On the other hand I think the main employee in the ticket office does a nice job. The person in this role always seems to know their long time fans and donors by name and do a good job to take care of them when needed. I am worried that this stop with this news as well. A lot depends on who is working the FRMC.
The ticket office had some game night promotions last year, just no budget to actually market it. I wait to see if these guys do anything different.
One part of the announcement that I am really concerned about is "...as well as philanthropic gifts to the Phoenix Fund, UW-Green Bay's fundraising arm." This is one area that I think has improved a lot over the years and IMO is a relationship business. If they lose some of the people they have on the Phoenix Fund team to an outsourced company I am sure they will lose donors initially.
One final thought about first impressions. "Their pledge to personalized service and brand awareness is tremendous." For a company that is so concerned about brand awareness I see a reference to UW-Green Bay and UWGB in the article. I thought the brand was Green Bay. Either I need a lesson or Aspire needs to tidy some things up.

For an athletics department that runs very lean already and is on the bottom half to bottom 1/3 of the HL in overall men's basketball budget dollars, this relationship had better work. Mary Ellen Gillespie really got the fundraising going when when she was here at UWGB. Every donor counts and if Aspire gums up the process and puts emphasis on the process itself over people and relationships, then this will fail quickly and may determine how the tenure of Charles Guthrie will go.

Old thread. I've been a long time 1-2 game ticket member looking at purchasing a package this upcoming season.
Wanted to get thoughts from veterans on this board your thoughts with the promotion from the ticket office side, creativity with packages, etc.

They instituted that about the time I moved away from the area - I had great seats in the BCA, had season tickets for like 20 years, as an alumni, and was going to get IMO shafted in the Resch.
While it might not be the most economical, I've been able to get great seats on a game by game basis that I'm guessing are far better than where my ass would be if I had season tix.

Wow. You read my mind. Your last part here is what I'm talking about. Flaw in the system.
