Pretty big time arenas to get to play in. Love this!

This is pretty cool. I'm guessing for travel reasons, Iowa will be one of the teams they play. It would be pretty cool to see GB play at the Carrier Dome, so I'm hoping they play Syracuse as well.

I hope it's Oregon. I live a couple of miles from the arena. ;-)

Will all the games be on campus sites or will a few be at MSG?

The high majors generally play at MSG.

Will all the games be on campus sites or will a few be at MSG? The 4 Power 5 schools will host two games and play two games at MSG vs each other
GB will play two road games vs Power 5 schools and then it will be a 4 team tournament at Eastern Washington

Okay, thanks! If geography is big, i’lol assume EWU will play Oregon and Iowa will play GB and UMKC. I’d love to play Syracuse...

Does 2K pay for all the travel and accommodations?

I am pretty sure this was booked a while ago. I think Iowa is a for sure game for GB. As for the other 3 teams you can't go wrong with the experience of playing in any of those arena's. If you want a chance to win I think you want to play UConn. If you want to travel the least you want to play Oregon and then hope you can go right to the sub regional afterwards. If you want to travel all over the place and get a bunch of 3's up in a 30 point loss then go to Syracuse. Either way I think it is a good tournament for where GB is right now. Get some money, some experience and a chance for two neutral site wins.

Hopefully we will have a team next season that will be competitive enough to hang with Iowa, Oregon, UConn, and Syracuse and maybe win against the mid-majors previously mentioned.

One thing that I want to clarify from my previous post. I think this a good tournament for where they are right now. However, as a general rule this kind of event is reserved for low major whipping boys. I much prefer the Gulf Coast Showcase or Great Alaska shootout type events. GB had really good teams in both of those events and used a 5-1 overall record to help be in the first four out and an at large NIT birth. I know that isn't the goal but playing good teams you can beat is the goal to improve the metrics and be a decent seed in the big dance.
This event is a good experience, fills up some games and likely puts some money in the bank. All of which is fine for a team that is probably going to be picked to be mid pack in the HL next year.

Green Bay Packers schedule is out! You know what the best part about that is? We can see what weekends will be available for Phoenix games at the Resch. I skipped the weekend of November 17th-18th because they will be out on the west coast for the 2K tourney I believe. So the following weekends should be open: November 24th-25th weekend of Thanksgiving so maybe a decent local mid major could make the trek up to Green Bay? December 15th-16th- it’s my Birthday weekend so it would be awesome to come up for a game. December 22nd-23rd. Last weekend before conference kicks off most likely. Let’s get some good competition to the resch and fill it up!

Green Bay at Evansville on 12/22.
I like that they are getting home and home with MVC teams even if they start on the road.
