I think the roster coming in gives Darner the best chance he's had at GB to play the kind of ball he wants the team to play -- fast pace offense and full-court pressing defense the whole way. He can rotate some length at the top defense to challenge the ballhandler.

Tyrone Powell is listed on the 2018-19 roster but Simeon Parker is no longer listed. Parham is listed as a senior. I wonder if that is a mistake or a sign that he isn't planning on playing out the 2 years that he should still have left. greenbayphoenix.com/roster.aspx?path=mbball

With Parham listed as a senior, that opens up a scholarship in a very good 2019 class.

Here is an interesting prediction. I cannot see how Milwaukee is #4 but there are so many unknowns from 4-10.

Does he know Milwaukee lost their best three players from last year?

I am apparently the only person who thinks NKU is going to take a step back. They played a nine man rotation last year and five of those guys (Holland, Williams, Garnet, Faulkner and Garrett) have either graduated or transferred. Sure they added some other pieces but I don't see them as the best team in the league this year. Plus three of those guys decided to transfer, could be a sign of trouble in paradise. Would you really bail if you had good chemistry and were poised to do something special?
I also have read several predictions that overrate Oakland and YSU. I think those teams are 8 & 9 in the order. I also think IUPUI is underrated by most. I see them at about #5.
I am really expecting a big year for GB. From where I sit GB has the most dynamic player in the league in Sandy Cohen III. The only player who can stop Sandy is Sandy.

Man I better lower my expectations based on how these experts think we are going to do.

Man I better lower my expectations based on how these experts think we are going to do. Sandy is good enough to be POY and if the JUCO kids can find their roles this team will be tough. It may be a little rough in the NC schedule, but by Jan 1st I am expecting these guys to push the top 3 teams in the league.

Man I better lower my expectations based on how these experts think we are going to do. Maybe I'm naive but you guys have not faith at all... We have 5 guys returning who started at one time or another in Sandy, Hankerson, Pipes, Paterson and Crist. They all played well at times and some were more consistent than others. We know what Sandy is capable of and I'm sure he will be up for the challenge on most nights. Hank gave us glimpses of his prowl all year long and I expect for him to continue to get better. Pipes started all but 3 games doing his thing even after missing his first 12 three point attempts and look where he finished in regards to 3 point percentage and I'm sure he want start that cold this year. He still played his best games against some of the top competition in Oakland (Nunn now an NBA guard), Mizzou and Wisconsin (watch the tape...). Paterson was rounding into his own after the refs was calling fouls on him as soon as he stepped in the parking lot. A surgery year later and he should be a beast in the paint. Crist is another competitor that will surprise his competitors with his good shooting and scrappy defense. Now, don't forget about Bell, who played most of the year hurt that limited his workout and practice I would think and he comes back hungry as ever with the talent to back it up. The kid can play and will start to make his mark for sure. Now add in three deadly shooters in Chevalier, Parham and Schwartz (1 1/2 of just practice under the coaches) and now they should know what the coaches want from them. In conjunction with that we added 4 Juco (2 years of college ball already) who are just eager to prove they belong at the D1 level. I believe all 4 were either the 2nd or 1st leading scorer on the team they come from. 2 of which are freaky athletes as it relates to jumping and maybe blocking shots and running the court for easy baskets. All of which should make for more pressure on opposing teams and a lot of easier baskets by RP40. Now, Let's see how it all plays out...

I agree with Panther. I am trying to not get too excited but with the league being wide open I see them as no worse than 4th. I can easily see them being much better than that. They should be able to run and shoot and play their style more than a year ago. I don't see the other up tempo teams being able to match up with GB right now.
I honestly think the level of evaluation that goes into this for some media types is GB lost their all conference player on the 7th best team in the league so they won't be good...
