Despite losing a big lead the team didn't fold. They got back to work and won fairly easily.
Awesome game for Kam. Same for Khalil and all of the staters really.
Love seeing guys getting to the hoop and finishing strong. That is up tempo attacking that is fun to watch.
Detroit is a mess right now, it might take some time to turn that around.

This team had me fooled for the last month but they are who they are
See you all next year. Just don’t have the tourney Magic Linc had at Florida southern

Starting slow has cost this team so far...long way to go.
Once again I can’t wait for Benzinger to graduate and looks like I’ll have to deal with 3 more years of the refs protecting Love.

Tough way for GB to lose, they pretty much never gave themselves a chance. The WSU half court defense was pretty stout to start and all of the shots were coming from outside. WSU on the other hand was able to pound the ball inside and get easy looks to get a big lead.
GB couldn't get a rebound either. Cohen was stuck in foul trouble. Hankerson came back to earth. Pipes was going strong and ended up getting hurt. That is a lot to overcome.
The officiating didn't help, Darner was hot. By the time that evened out it was too late. Loudon Love must be on the protected species list. He apparently can't be called for a foul or a travel.
For Small you can at least say he went out with a bang. He played a great game, he will be missed. Seeing him get better actually made me think of Daeshon Francis for bit. Francis had a head start on Small but never went on to play at D1 again. Oh what could have been.

A few things about Motor City Madness.
1. That arena is apparently really nice. The reviews coming from those in Detroit are stellar. The league seems lucky to play in such a venue.
2. For those thinking that Olympia/LCA want the Big Ten Tournament you are probably right. However, it is rotating between Chicago and Indy for the next 4 years. So I can't see Motor City Madness going away because LCA has a better option for 2019. It might go away because of other reasons.
3. The same fans that want this moved to Indy are missing that Indy has the Big Ten tournament in 2 of the next 4 years. It can't be played at the State Fair grounds...why should IUPUI get an advantage. Plus that site isn't part of the scene, there is nothing else to do around the Indy State Fair. At least in Detroit the arena is in a busy spot.

I love seeing CSU moving on. If NKU can't win here, they weren't going to win in the big dance.
I really love seeing UIC get bumped out. They have a lot of talent but just something is off about them.
Detroit needs a new coaching staff. I don't see their team getting better.
An Oakland vs. WSU final would be good for the league at this point. I am not saying it will happen but just that is the best chance to get a team in the big dance that could win a game. It also is the best chance for a lively crowd in the finals of MCM.

In D3, 11-win Berry College, the 8 seed in their conference tourney won three games in three days to make the NCAA tournament this year......it can be done, no matter how insurmountable it sounds I guess I was talking about Cleveland State here, can't help but root for them tonight

I guess I was talking about Cleveland State here, can't help but root for them tonight I am going to cheer for Wright State, best option left for the conference. At this point, I have to go for the underdog. In the grand scheme of things, it's not like either team winning is going to put the conference in higher regard.

Neither team is going to win a game in the field of 64, so I'm pulling for CSU. At least it's a cool story, and they'll have a shot to win a game in the first four.
