The bottom line is we don't know the internal team dynamics. Kanter has had a unique journey and you have to be happy for him especially with the BS his family is facing in his native country. Like many big men Kanter was a development project type. To often we overlook the physical and emotional aspect of development.
Last season Anderson's "back issues" -- Jones' injury and Cooper not being 100-percent cost half a dozen wins. This season GB has the least experienced team in D1 ball. Lets see where things go in 18-19. This season has been tough to watch.

www.ferrisstatebulldogs.com/sports/mbkb/2017-18/bios/hankins_zach_0lcuIf you watched the D2 championship game you may have noticed Zach Hankins. He was a fluid big man with a good touch inside. He is transferring to Xavier for his senior year and is eligible right away. It looks like Xavier likes to recruit other schools post players. I am sure he will do well for them. When I saw him playing and where he is from I wondered why he never had a look from GB. Seeing guys like this really make me want the staff to take on a guy like Owen Hamilton or Aleks Novakovich. Big guys don't grow on trees so take a young guy and develop him. Even if you don't end up getting their last year of service you are still going to get a couple of good years from them. Also, Travis Steele is the new Xavier coach. I am pretty sure he was a finalist back in 2015 for GB.

I, too, could score workouts if I had a brother of whose name I could live off of.

I agree with YayPhoenix, he would have had this same opportunity no matter where he played. If he gets to work out with other NBA teams I will be impressed. With that said, good luck and I hope he does well.
