A few people on the Marquette message board are speculating that Wilson may head to GB. He would be eligible immediately as a grad student. Being close to home might be attractive to him for several reasons.

I wonder if Sandy and Duane were decent friends? If Duane isnt looking to stay in the P6, I would think having the extra scholarship in play will help.

It makes sense for him to leave MU but it is too bad because I like his game, heart and mentality. With that said this a move about better positioning to be a pro. I would guess he would be looking at high major leagues that have lots of pro scouts. Perhaps teams that are close to dancing but need an extra piece. Schools that come to mind would be Texas Tech, TCU, Ole Miss, Auburn or Georgia Tech. If Akeem Springs and Austin Arians can go to teams that were in the P5 and just needed a little more help then I have to think demand for Wilson will be high.

He wants to get on the court more and there's a danger with some of the programs you listed. It will be a tough call for him and if it's the wrong one he will be frustrated. He's slowly come back from a hip fracture several years ago and may have turned the corner.

If he came to UWGB and played well kind of like Carrington Love did it would work out for him. Carringtons senior year helped him land a spot in Europe. It could be a possibility.

Sign Duane and Redshirt Trev? Ha Why not have both players? In RP40 system, multiple players bring the ball upcourt & play different positions. There are plenty of minutes and ballhandling available for those who are capable. Plus as found out this season, injuries can be a factor so always a need more good players regardless of position.

Gee, having two or three playmaking guards on the floor at the same time. Who would have thought? ;-)

I did see on the Marquette board that Duane has a child. Being close to home and being able to play a lot of minutes could keep us in play if he chooses a mid major. This team looks to be pretty small next year besides Kanter so why not show some interest.

Duane tweeted that he is visiting Texas AM this weekend, we are probably out on him if that is the case

They are short of experienced point guards and that looks like a good move. An injury redshirt season when he first arrived at Marquette set him back a couple of years athletically.

Congrats to Duane, that is a good spot to land. When I was thinking about teams for him I was going West to East and overlooked TAMU but they fit the bill of what I was thinking.
