It's certainly sad to see he made threats of self harm. I hope he can get the help he needs and knows people are rooting for him.

We don't know the truth but clearly he needs some counseling. I noticed he wasn't on the bench last night. His brother was a strong cheer leader encouraging his teammates during the timeouts.

A tough situation for all involved. I would hope for a quick resolution for all involved to help them pick up and move on from this.
From a hoops perspective I hope his status is cleared up quickly, the twins are likely a big part of the rotation next year. If he isn't going to be returning from this it would be best for him to know how to plan and GB to find replacements. I would hate for him to not land on his feet with an opportunity to make amends and for GB to miss the chance to recruit replacements like Teyvion Kirk for example.
I had to edit this because the victim in this case didn't get any mention from me. With this being a hoops forum I didn't write anything but she is of significant importance in this situation as well.

I expect him to be back, along with his brother. I'm impressed by the sportsmanship he, Avery and Kaharri show every game. They're the first guys to stand up and high five their teammates.

This sounds like a very sad situation in for all involved and wish the best to all.
With all of the violence in the news and how polarizing it can be, I just don't see him coming back to the team. I am sure he is a good person and had a moment that lacked clarity but don't see the university ever clearing him.
I wish the best to the young woman involved and that others can learn from this.

I highly doubt he will be kicked off the team. If that were the case, it would've been done already. I'm not sure why the board has been so quick to dismiss the kid. Mistakes happen, confrontation is reprehensible, but still holds ground for vindication. Clearly, Anthony needs psychological guidance, here's to hoping he gets it and is ready to contribute next season.

I am not writing Brown off. I think he and the other guys out of uniform have been great this year. I simply am hoping for a quick resolution to his status for all party's involved. From a hoops perspective only I would prefer he came back to the team instead of having to recruit replacement players.

In a "human" sense I want what's best for the two people involved in the altercation. Basketball be damned.

Best of luck to Anthony in the future. This may explain the recent recruiting activity

Yep this explains why they are going after Flory.

Best of luck to the kid. I really do feel for him, clearly, he has personal issues he has to deal with. I hope Avery stays but I totally understand if he doesn't.

The official team site wasted no time in removing him from the roster. Avery is still on there, however, so at least as of now, he hasn't informed the team he will be leaving with his brother. Avery stands to get some very solid minutes next year.

Well that was a quick resolution. I hope for the best for all parties involved. I will be very curious to see what Avery does. If they both leave then i can understand Flory or another guard. I still believe they need at least one big guy still in this class.

Not sure what happened but haven't seen Avery Brown or Kaharri Carter with team during their summer workouts and little practice videos.
