I didn't get to post this yesterday but I don't feel sorry for Milwaukee at all. From January of 2017 to September of 2017 GB lost 10 scholarship players. Yes last season wasn't that fun but the team still played and won games. They played their best down the stretch. Like GB, Milwaukee will be just fine long term. Honestly some of their loudest fans are doing more harm than the roster turnover is doing. By being so vocal the media is picking up on it and making it out to be worse than it is. They are driving away fans and donors but they won't drive away players.
I say that because there are still 13 scholarships over 351 teams. The reality is there are way more than 4563 kids trying to get one of those scholarships. They will always be able to get players. The proof of that is Lucas. They just added a kid who is more talented than anyone they lost.
As for the kids they lost. I like Nze as a player but he is a wildcard on the court. I do see him moving up based on potential. Stull is a low risk for a decent team but he's a high major role player off the bench instead of being the man. The other guy is a nice mid major player.

Also, with Lucas in the fold for Milwaukee that has to open the door for McCloud to go somewhere else. Come on GB get this kid.

Some of the Milwaukee fans seem to think Jeter was a savior. When in fact he barely won 50 percent of his division one games and was given plenty of opportunity. (11 years)

Mike Davis takes the UDM job. I think this is a really good hire. In fact UDM went from having the worst coach in the league to one of the best. He did well on the transfer market at Texas Southern, I will think that will continue at Detroit.

Watching NBA Summer League of Golden State and Miami and 2 Horizon Leagues on the teams. Nunn from Oakland undrafted but started for Golden State but Dixon from UIC on Miami and not even getting off the bench in this game...
Good to see both getting a chance though....

Sounds like John Brannen will be a hot commodity this off season again. Has been linked to the opening position at Alabama, he was an assistant there at one time.
Personally I feel he wants out, he was interviewing for other gigs last year as well.

He's relatively young and I wouldn't be surprised if he left NKU. I'm sure he would come a little cheaper than bringing in a bigger name or a former NBA coach to 'Bama.

I know it’s not Horizon League school, but TJ has been getting Wisconsin kids to come to South Dakota State the past few years. Keep an eye on Alou Dillon, it was between us and South Dakota State for recruiting.
