One could hope. Without Peters, Valpo will probably lose.

With 5 HL teams in the post season, you'd think one of them could make a run at whatever tourney they are in.

With 5 HL teams in the post season, you'd think one of them could make a run at whatever tourney they are in. The team with the best chance of making a run would be the Phoenix. Oakland and Valpo with tough road games vs P5 schools. NKU isn't beating Kentucky and UIC had to believe their season was over last week with that record until the CBI came to them to keep the season going.

Put this under the header "Whatever happened to......"
How did (former UW-M Panther) Austin Arians end up at Wake Forest, scored 17 points last night in th loss to Kansas State in he First Four of the NCAA's, and was a 33 game starter who averaged 8+ a game this season as a grad student?

In HL NIT news: Good to see that the Grizz won on the road at Clemson last night while Valpo laid a big egg against Illinois. The Grizz play at Richmond next.

Shooting the basketball well is a lost art. Put four athletes around him and he can shoot well enough to survive at that level.
But seriously I bet his teammates were a little weary when they first saw him on campus. Certainly doesn't look the part of an ACC player

Williams played off the bench and did not even score against us in either game. Not a big loss at all. Probably helps Valpo by opening up a scholarship for next season.

Interesting hire. A guy with a lot of experience and has taken programs to the NCAAs

I know it isn't a young assistant with high energy but I like this hire for CSU. They certainly hired a guy with a good resume.

Looks to be a high-upside hire for YSU

A solid hire for YSU. It doens't change anything for me though, they still don't fit in the HL. Until they start to spend on their program they either need to be in the OVC or upgrade their football and try to get to the MAC.

Jibri Blount is leaving CSU as well. While that is two of their better players I would say it is no loss given that their team was terrible. Edwards in particular is a selfish player from my point of view and is addition by subtraction.
Kolawole leaving UIC isn't a surprise either. He is talented but wasn't fully in the rotation. If guys aren't playing they aren't staying in this day and age. UIC better win big this year or I think some more young talent will be looking elsewhere.
Just some fuel for the fire but there were two open HL jobs and countless other D1 jobs open. I wonder why Gary Greszk didn't get any interviews? Well actually I don't but I think it is safe to say the only reason he is ever in the GB mix is because he is an alum because the rest of the D1 world doesn't think his resume is impressive enough.
