gbphoenix1-- "Ronnie Thomas and Brennan Cougill do look alike and do shoot too many 3's" (17-47) 36 percent and, thats 3rd best on the team and just over 2 a game, how do u say he shoots too many threes ? He is 6'9", weighs more than almost every player in the league and can finish around the rim with both hands. He is a good 3 point shooter but my feeling is that he is a better post player so exploit his size and skill more.

I noticed that the whole crew was over by the Panthers bench during every stoppage. Pretty unprofessional when it doesn't go both ways. Most of the close calls went Milwaukee's way. I think that is because they earned them. When you aren't physically strong, and you careless with the ball, officials on every level will not help you out with their whistles. As this team develops they will start getting those close calls. One thing that annoys me about college basketball is that they seem inclined to copy the pros on their officiating. You can bear hug someone down low and get away with it, but a hand check on the perimeter gets you a whistle. This is revisionist history. Green Bay committed only two more fouls than Milwaukee, took three more free throws than Milwaukee, and I can think of two wrong calls that went Green Bay's way that led directly to points. Here they are, both in the second half: Brennan Cougill gets a loose ball rebound, and his pass leads to a three-pointer. His foot was directly on the line, and it was brought up by the Horizon League announcers (Joel Cornette and I believe Will Haskett) that the play should have been a turnover. The second came on a team rebound by Milwaukee collected by Ryan Allen at the same basket, which he pulled away and was called a jump ball that gave Green Bay possession. The player's hand was barely on the ball for a split second, Brian Dickmann agreed with me on this play over Twitter not a minute later.

If he shoots just over 2 threes a game at a high percentage, how does that stop him from posting up alot ? If he can play both inside and out at a high level let him, Having him on hte perimeter sometimes, forces the other teams post player to play him honest opening the lane up for guys like keifer sykes to slash. why do u think the lane is so wide open sometimes when keifer is driving, because the guy guarding cougill has to be out on the perimeter because they respect cougills outside game, it is extremly important to the overall offense that cougill is able to pull players out of the lane.

If you can't see that, you are watching the game from a one sided point of view.

Oh Yeah, and everyone always follows the rules just like you never speed while driving your car. Get real. I get a kick out of "Milwaukee" fans that several months ago were hoping there coach returned now are posting on their board that he should be fired. I have never seen fans that jump ship faster, except maybe the captain of the Italian Cruise liner that "coordinated" the rescue from shore.

All those people coming on the board to complain are old Bruce Pearl fans that show up once or twice a year to bemoan Jeter's program. The people who are there all year are like me - a little more pragmatic, and we all roll our eyes at the ideas of Bruce Pearl coming back (swear to god, some idiot brought that up).
