I will follow 97's lead. Of the names we have heard my list looks like this:
1. Cooper 2. Johnson 3&4. Avery and Anthony Brown 5. Bryson Scott 6. Joe Mooney 7. Dallas Polk Hilliard
All of these guys seem like they could fit so I am sure GB will be fine no matter what happens. I would lean towards the first four and then I would like to see them get a big guy in this cycle with the 5th spot. One nice thing is there are currently 3 guys unofficially in place so maybe one of them is working on a big guy but we haven't heard a name yet since they are unofficial.
Also, I think Findlay will be a nice contributor. I thought he moved the ball well last year when he was playing. I think his length would be good for a full court press. I heard he was usually good in practice on the scout team but maybe didn't understand or embrace his role in the games.

I am watching his highlights.
Good athlete, has basketball sense. Nice touch on his shot. 6'5" and long arms. In the video I don't see much elevation. Like all highlights it's all offense and no defense.
He can score a lot of points. Eight 3's in the first half of a 36 point effort against Kenosha Christian in an 86 - 63 victory this season.
He's been offered by Colgate. Must be a good student.
Also offered: Radford and UNO.
May be a good find! I seen him play as a junior, he had a chance to be a big breakout player as a senior. Then he got hurt and missed a good portion of the season. Hard to tell where he's at now. He's interesting.

Give me the Browns, Cooper, Polk-Hilliard and try to scramble for a big man.

There's not an immediate need for a big man. It would be a good move to pick up a transfer big who would have to sit out a year.

I think a big man in a must. Right now the bigs on the roster are Karem, Hendo and Kenny. From a 2015-16 standpoint I don't think that rotation strikes fear in the hearts of opponents. I don't think Botz can play up front. When Jordan has had to play up front he kind of struggled as well. Valpo and Illinois State are two teams that ate him up. He has done so much damage posting up smaller guys and out rebounding smaller guys while still being able to defend them on the other end.
Also, looking long term of the five guys who might be in the big rotation, four are juniors or seniors. Getting a guy in now will have him ready to go when these guys are gone. I would hate to see GB load up on quality young guards now and then in two years have no bigs to play with them. For this purpose a solid transfer would be just fine.

Agreed with GBPhoenix, a big man is an ABSOLUTE MUST. Henry gets into foul trouble early and often and Kanter isn't a stellar defender. If we have to face a serious big man we would be SOL as we would have no one to defend him. At least one more C/PF would ease my mind a bit, if not two. IMO, guards are a dime a dozen. You can find a good couple of guards in every recruiting class. The same cannot be said about big men. While there is not a huge talent pool of them available, I think it is pertinent to add one in hopes he can be developed, even if he is a JUCO guy.

Hopefully, Linc and his staff is working on the big-man issue......Regardless, Fouse and Botz will have to live in the weight room this summer. They will be playing up front more so under Linc than they did under BW.

Since Tulsa just reported that Joe Mooney signed with UC-Davis.....I will need to level-set with my original wish list (asterisks were ones I was hoping GB would sign): Charles Cooper (JC)* (SIGNED) Dallas Polk-Hilliard* ( ) Joe Mooney* (unless Linc signs a big man) (SIGNED w/ UC-DAVIS) Bryson Scott - Junior transfer from Purdue; eligible in 16-17 ( ) Jeremy Johnson (? - Maybe, but K-State is lurking) Avery Brown* (SIGNED) Anthony Brown* (SIGNED) We could have used Mooney's shooting, but with Findlay and Small on the roster coupled with the other signees, Mooney may have not gotten a lot of time initially. At this point in the recruiting process, and since JJ could be swayed by K-State, does Linc go after Dallas Polk-Hilliard as the one more perimeter player we need? Is Scott still in the mix to transfer to GB? Is there anyone in the mix that we haven't mentioned yet? Maybe Linc has some FL prospects we don't know about yet. Didn't Joe Mooney have a brother that was transferring from USAFA? I guess at this point he could transfer to UCD as well to join his brother that is if they have any open scholarships or a promise by Jim Les that we would be on scholarship after next season.

It looks like Bryson Scott was at Lambeau recently, so it seems like GB is still in the mix http://instagram.com/p/2RyvrZDFgy Edit: it sounds like he was actually on campus today. Interesting.

The more I think about Bryson Scott the more I am interested. From a stand point of talent alone he has to be the most talented of any of the guards GB is still working on. If GB ends up with Scott then in 16-17 with him and Cooper that looks like a lot of firepower in the backcourt. My initial reservation was that he would have a Kelsey Barlow type impact on the team which is to say plenty of stats but not a good team player. I trust that Linc wouldn't go after a guy like that. If Scott or JJ commit I will be very happy.
One thing that I do find interesting is that each recruit is coming individually. That is different from before. In the past guys came at one time and built bonds and chemistry. I will be curious to see how all the guys fit together.

A potential class of Cooper, the Brown twins, Scott, and either JJ or a combo forward that is yet to be named, would be a great finish to a slow start for this signing period due to the coaching change and the subsequent roster turnover/transfers. Getting Scott would help balance out the classes since Kanter and Small will be the only juniors in '16-'17. Getting a young forward will help with depth since all of our forwards will be upperclassmen (except Kanter) next season.

Scott would be an ideal addition and compliment to the other players. Under the new coach we're going to see full court pressure and trapping defense. In terms of recruiting visits Darner is playing catch up and doesn't have the luxury of scheduling everyone at the same time. My question is who's left out there that the Nix may be able to sign? I've turned around on this issue -- at least one true front court player would be helpful. I have confidence in Kanter, Lowe and Fouse but at the very least Darner needs to bring in a developmental type. Uwadiae is a total widecard, in the 2014-15 and beyond equation.
