Phenomanal defense and excellent execution in the final 2 minutes produces one of the biggest wins in program history. Well done Phoenix!

This was such an impressive bounce back victory for the Nix. It was a resume win that could pay off big time at the end of the season. When Green Bay works the ball and doesn't depend on jump shots good things happen. I think what they learned on this road trip is when the opposition focuses on Sykes it creates opportunities for others.

Very well put Tulsa they need to adapt and this maybe the turning point.

I did not expect this win after laying down in the first half against GSU. We hope that Miami finishes in the top half of the ACC, and that RPI could be the gift that keep on giving. Same with GSU; win at home later this month, and hope GSU contends for the Sun Belt title.
The minute I lose faith in C-Love, he does this!!!.....:-)

How good was Miami? They entered the game with 2 wins versus ranked teams, and had only trailed once all season.
If you missed the game, you can watch the replay on ESPN3. I did, I originally listened on the radio, Matt Menzl was outstanding on the call.
With this win in the books, the Phoenix have just 8 more true road games remaining of their final 22 games, with 2 neutral site games. 2 long homestands coming up, a perfect time for the team to get lots of practice time to sharpen those 3 point shooting skills. The team is healthy, and the remaing schedule should allow the team to be rested. The Phoenix future couldn't be much brighter right now.

Obviously Love was gigantic in this game, great to see. Lowe also had several huge buckets at the rim. It was great to Greg Mays finally knock down some jumpers but he didn't settle as he had several finishes at the rim as well. The Hendo dunk was fun, it came at a big time...as did the McKinnie dunk.
The Miami zone slowed GB down but Miami wasn't that good in their zone and eventually GB figured it out. Their press on the other hand led to several anxious moments.
The Miami players said GB just out worked them and that is the calling card for the GB program. I told my wife before the game that GB would win. I thought it was a perfect storm of Miami riding a big win and overlooking a team coming off of a bad loss. The experience and hard work of the GB players really showed as they were bending (leads of 11 and 16 were lost) but they never broke. I think lesser mid major teams would wilt in that environment.

What a great win to get some national recognition for the Phoenix. A win like this makes the program relevant for a much larger pool of recruits. Kids will know of the program when contacted and connect the program with winning and winning big games at big time schools. This win will be huge if Miami can finish the season as a top ACC team. Great job, Phoenix!
Also, we cannot ask of any more from Love than what he gave us. He was superb, absolutely incredible, a great game from him and hopefully this is a bit of a springboard for him going forward this season.

Eastern Kentucky beat Miami this evening in Miami 72 - 44. Looks like Miami will be falling in the various rankings.

Miami just beat Duke at Cameron tonight 90-74 . They have not lost at home in almost 3 years (41 games I think). This will help GB's RPI.....
Coach K's march to 1000 wins will be a little delayed.....
