Friday, January 20 7:00 on ESPNU and ESPN3.com This team seems to play to the level of competition, with the 4 conference losses by a combined 14 points. I've penciled this one is as a loss, however, as CSU is clearly the better, more experienced team. The Vikes have won 5 of the last 6 vs the 'Nix, GB is 0-9 on the road this season and havent won at CSU since Feb 3, 2007. Wow, lots of negativity there but yet I still dont think this one will be a blow out, especially if the team from the second half of Saturday's game shows up. Vegas has us a 9.5 dogs. Go 'Nix, shock the world on national TV! Cleveland State message board

Very tough game, but if they keep playing teams close, sooner or later they'll sting someone.

Here's Rob Demovsky's preview.Very cool that tonight's match-up is on ESPNU. Wish it was a more winnable game. CSU is clearly the team to beat in the HL this year. They really spread the floor well, and defend well as usual. They don't have a star to lean on in crunch time, but have still won close games. That's where experience pays dividens. It must be fun to have 4 senior starters. Excited to see more of Josh Humphrey tonight. I re-watched the WSU game and was really impressed with Humphrey. He's extremely intelligent, and it shows on the basketball court. Great passer, great anticipation on defense, and seems to have learned to play within himself offensively. He'll be needed at PF tonight to match up against a smaller CSU team.

Box ScoreThink our attendance is bad, CSU is battling for 1st, coming off an NIT season, draws under 3,000 on a Friday night. Nix play well in spurts, but are too inconsistant to beat a quality team like this on the road. Wretched free throw shooting really hurt, they weren't outplayed by this margin. Cerroni is really starting to show his shooting prowess.
