I'm a 1995 graduate of GB and bleed Phoenix Green. I have 4 season tickets to the men's games and 2 season tickets to the women's games. I spent 4 years as the mascot in the 90's and had a lot of fun at home and on the road during a very successful time in the history of the program. I found this board by simply doing a google search. I've spent some time trolling the UWM board in the past.

I'm from De Pere, lived here all my life. I've heard a lot of hype about the GB program in recent years. Decided that since the University is so close I'd start paying attention to the team. Big fan of college basketball. I don't waste my time with that joke of a league they call the NBA. I try to catch a few games live, but for the most part, I watch from my computer or TV, just so I don't have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a beer. I believe in bringing back the short shorts, long shorts don't make any damn sense in highly competitive basketball.

A little overdue, so here you have it. As you may have guessed, I am a junior at SNC. I have lived in GB my whole life (hopefully that will change once I graduate) and I have been a Phoenix fan ever since I was a little kid. My brother spent some time in the MiLB, but after seeing just how things are handled at the professional level of any sport, I became a bit jaded with most pro teams, excluding the Pack. Naturally, my passion for the Phoenix intensified because of this and today I attend all home games and some away ones as well. You can typically catch me in section 209 with my SNC sweatshirt on and Phoenix tee under it (not to mention I have trademark long hair and a beard so I am pretty easily recognizable). I will always root for the team in times good and bad, but for god's sake, get that Wardle clown out of here and let the real success commence!

This is overdue for me too. I grew up in NE Wisconsin then left for college only to find myself working/living in De Pere. Just old enough to remember beating Jason Kidd and Cal in 1994 and the Nordgaard years that followed. Played the game growing up so have a decent background in basketball strategy. Went to a couple games a year as a kid and kept following the team when I went away for school. Have had season tickets for last two years.

I was stationed in Door County on the USCGC Mobile Bay about 3.5 years ago and a group of us decided to go down to Green Bay to check out a basketball game for a change. It was Kiefer Sykes sophomore year and they were playing against Detriot. Ray McCollum and Sykes went back and forth the whole game but Sykes and the Phoenix came out on top.
After watching this game, I became hooked on the Phoenix and have went to several games since then. Maybe one day I will get stationed back up around there and then I would get season tickets. Milwaukee is just a little bit to far. Cheers everyone!

Hi everyone. I'm Kyle Craven (@kylecraven_NR on twitter) and I am a co-owner of Norse Report... Yes, you read that right. I am behind enemy lines, BUT I come in peace! I would say I am a Norse fan first, but a LEAGUE fan second. I am here to learn as much as I can about every team in our league, as I truly do have a deep respect for many of these programs, Green Bay's included. I consider UW-GB in the 'class group' of the Horizon League, and I hope I'm welcome to your board. If you guys don't want me I'll take my things and go--but I would love to stay and learn as much as I can about what's going on around your program so I can discuss in an educated way on the platforms I have access to!
Thanks!
