This might be early for this but It would be interesting to re visit this on a bi-weekley basis.
Horizon League teams and the postseason, NCAA top 50, NIT top 75, CBI top 125, CIT top 150. I will monitor who is in contention for what. There are a few suprises here.
-------------------------w/l........rpi Cleveland State......5-0........3 Valpariso.................5-2........72 Green Bay................2-4........113 Illinois-Chicago.........2-2........125
---------------------------- Milwaukee................4-1.........185 Wright State.............2-3.........217 Youngstown State.....3-1.........240 Loyola........................0-4.........246 Butler.........................3-2.........248 Detriot.........................3-3.........272
=================
Yes this is only 20 percent into the season, but green bay played a tough enough schedule to stay respectable and in contention for the CBI. Detriot beat 2 Division 2 schools. Butler has loss games you would not have expected them too.
Could this be a sign of a conference who has lost alot of players from a conference loaded with seniors last year, plus key players like Holman at detriot and wood transfering from Valpo. Things could open up for Green Bay possibly. I'm hoping when conference play starts we can maintain our RPI. I would like to see this young team get a shot to play in a tourney like the CBI or CIT. Those are nice tourneys for mid major programs to build with.

Detroit lost 6'9" forward Nick Minnerath to a knee injury the other day, and are down to 8 players.
Will Cleveland State be ranked this week?

This might be early for this but It would be interesting to re visit this on a bi-weekley basis. It's never too early to talk about optimistic news. Today's update from realtimerpi has the Phoenix at 95th, with the 7th toughest Strength of Schedule. CBI or CIT would be great, anything to extend our season. The extra practice time and tourney style game experience would be perfect for this young team. It could provide a springboard into next season.

Will Cleveland State be ranked this week? I think the loss to Hofstra over the weekend will keep them out, could be wrong tho

Rob Demovsky re-predicts the order of conference finish here.Green Bay enters fulltime conference play with the conferences 2nd highest RPI, sitting at 78th nationally. GB has played 7 teams in the RPI's top 100 (4 in the top 50), resulting in 6 road losses and 1 home win.

I'm tired of hearing how talented Detriot is. Win some games, they couldn't even beat Youngstown without Holman. Ranking Detriot high repeatable and getting burnt makes people look like fools.
There is no way Cleveland State gets ranked behind Butler with what we saw this year so far. Butler is a go to player short of repeating.
I think Green Bay's break out move out the year was moving Cougill and Cerroni to the lineup. I could see Cougill to continue to improve as he adjust back to D1, and Cerroni looks great with how he added a mid range shot, with his head fake and go we been seeing from him. Both those guys early in the year were getting under 20 minutes and now are in the high 20s and into the 30s.
