Nov. 11 UNIVERSITY OF MARY W, D2 at home should be a win Nov. 13 at Duquesne L, young team on the road probably doesn't pull it out Nov. 16 at North Dakota State W, I don't think they are better than GB Nov. 19 WYOMING W, They don't look that good Nov. 21 at Indiana State L ISU is supposed to be good Nov. 25 at Virginia L Dec. 1 UIC W, I don't think the Chicago teams look good this year Dec. 3 LOYOLA W Dec. 7 at Wisconsin L Dec. 10 at Marquette L Dec. 13 MICHIGAN TECH W Dec. 22 IDAHO W, don't know much but it's at home after GB has played some tough teams, hoping that has GB ready Dec. 29 at Butler L Dec. 31 at Valparaiso W, GB has been competitive at Valpo Jan. 7 at UW-Milwaukee L rarely does GB win in Milwaukee Jan. 12 DETROIT W Jan. 14 WRIGHT STATE W Jan. 19 at Cleveland State L Jan. 21 at Youngstown State W hoping it's not a struggle Jan. 26 VALPARAISO W Jan. 28 BUTLER W I think Butler is vulnerable this year (still good though) Feb. 4 UW-MILWAUKEE W Milwaukee rarely wins in GB Feb. 9 at Wright State W GB never wins here but WSU doesn't look that impressive Feb. 11 at Detroit L Feb. 14 YOUNGSTOWN STATE W Feb. 18 ESPN BRACKETBUSTER Feb. 21 CLEVELAND STATE L Feb. 23 at Loyola W Feb. 25 at UIC L, they shouldn't but GB rarely sweeps in Chicago
So I'm the record for 17-11 with 12-6 in conference play. That is probably over optimistic and to be honest I had GB winning every game that was a toss up (NDSU, Wyoming, Idaho, @valpo, Butler, Milwaukee, @wsu) which isn't going to happen. So I won't be surprised if they don't do as well as I have predicted.

Its Milwaukee not UW-Milwaukee...
But overall I think your predictions are pretty good.
Where do you think 12-6 would put you guys? 4th or 5th? Who know maybe it'll be a cluster at the top like last year.

Thats just how the school wants the athletic programs to be called, simply Milwaukee instead of UW-Milwaukee. Green Bay is doing the same thing. From today's game notes:
"Please refer to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay as Green Bay, not UWGB. Green Bay Athletics is making an effort to brand itself as Green Bay and shed other references, including UW-Green Bay, Wisc.-Green Bay, Wisconsin-Green Bay, etc. We appreciate your assistance with this effort in advance."
A good example I've seen is UW-Madison sports teams being called Wisconsin Badgers. UW-Green Bay wants our sports teams to be the Green Bay Phoenix. I think its ironic considering it says "UW-Green Bay" along the baselines underneath the baskets at the Resch Center ;D

It all started back with UNC-Charlotte. They changed all their athletics to just Charlotte, which they felt gave them better name recognition, and made it seem less like UNC's little brother.
I have no problem with it, but when people start correcting you for writing it wrong on an online forum it's gone way too far.

Its just helping the cause to spread the word on the correct name for Milwaukee's athletics. I was only correcting the OP not trying to be a jerk or anything.

Its Milwaukee not UW-Milwaukee... Really? I think I'll have to research this by going to your teams official website, uwmpanthers.comYes, that is the domain name of their official website. milwaukeepanthers.com is available. We should buy it.

We should buy it. The university is still UWM but the athletic teams are called the Milwaukee Panthers. Thats not an opinion its a fact. Its not different then Madison being a UWM (U of Wisconsin-Madison) or Illinois being University of Illinois-Champaigne. Their are many others that fit this just a few examples. I was just trying to clarify something but if you wanna say our name incorrectly no one's stopping you.

When your official athletics website is no longer uwmpanthers.com, I'll stop calling your team UW-M. This isn't me trying to be vindictive, it's your school causing the confusion through it's own sloppiness. Our official athletics site isn't uwgbphoenix.com, it's greenbayphoenix.com.

Who know maybe it'll be a cluster at the top like last year. I copied and pasted that schedule from another members thread on the old GB message board. I didn't even look at how the name was typed. I predicted GB would finish 4th and I can't imagine 12 wins would be worse than 4th. I think a few of the HL teams are really bad so there will be more separation in the overall standings than in the past. If feels like there is always a cluster of 8 to 10 win teams. I am not sure I see that happening this year.
