Rivalry game versus the little brother from the south. Green Bay looking to make it 3 straight over the Panthers, and doing it on national TV. No word yet on the availability of Noah Reynolds.

I think we’re guaranteed a top 4 seed no matter the result of tonight’s game, right? If that’s the case I doubt Reynolds plays. But this team has shown they can win without him, so let’s get that W!

Huge block by DJ Douglas to help Green Bay preserve a 2 point lead at the half. DJ has hit 5- 3s, and the defense really locked in late in the half.

Dumb turnovers and lack of any rebounding is killing the Phoenix tonight.

ok. where is Noah? Injury, transfer portal??? Different team without him. The reality is without Reynolds this is a ten win team this year at best. If he doesn’t play Thursday it means he’s transferring and is quitting on the tean

Noah was NOT in a boot tonight and on the bench in street clothes. There was no point for him to play.
If anything he got extra motivation from BJ Freeman who was chirping the whole game at the bench and then even afterwards as well.
We’ll see these guys again on Thursday.

Maybe do a half second of research before you start talking stupid Brain functions wells - next time perhaps reread your note before hitting send button. A better note would have been, "xyz" reported 2 days ago Noah had an ankle sprain and would miss say "x" games. Notice difference in tone between your line and what I recommended.

I’m glad everyone on this message board is perfectly fine with losing four of five to end the year and just shrugging your shoulders and saying great effort guys!
A great effort would be losing a close game. They’ve gotten murdered in three of the losses. That’s concerning.
They shot the lights out in the first half but played awful defense so it didn’t matter. Sloppy turnovers.
This team still haven’t figured out the press 30 games into the season. How has that not been fixed?
Expectations should have been changed when they started off so well. It’s no longer they did way better than last year. Last years team isn’t here other than Wade and cc3.
If they lose to uwm on Thursday I consider this season an ultimate failure.

Since I don't live in the Green Bay area, I've only been able to catch 2 games this season. I was in person for the Youngstown State game last Sunday, and saw the UWM game yesterday on ESPNU. Even though GB struggled in both games, I saw a well coached team that just doesn't have enough overall talent to be a truly upper echelon mid-major especially without Reynolds. I think there's plenty of decent but not necessarily great players on GB, and some of the younger guys could eventually be better than decent but they need some seasoning.
I will say this, back in late 2021 I caught the game at the Kress Center vs. Youngstown State when McGee and Meyer were still on the team and freshmen under coach Ryan. The program looks so much better now than they did back then, it's not even close. And that's with me only seeing 2 of the team's biggest stinkers of this season.
I think it's clear that Wicks is still going to need a couple more really good recruits to come in to take another step, but the progress he's made in 1 season to resurrect this program from the rock bottom of rock bottoms is very impressive.
And yeah, it hurts to lose to UWM, but I'll give their coach Bart Lundy credit, he looks like he knows what he's doing. He's got a lot of good players on that roster, and he's done a really good job of improving that program quickly after the disappointing era under Baldwin.
