Scott Ebube. A highly efficient powerhouse post player. 6'10", 273 pounds. If he gets the ball near the hoop, it's going in.

Definitely needed to guard fields. As coach wicks with Cole and Scottie uwgb got some dudes. The interior defense should be improved not that it was bad the pick and roll defense was bad against Milwaukee hopefully Cole and Scottie help. But there is no bj freeman. If uwgb can get a sears or Pickett that would be good.

You have to get out of the mindset of replacing the player - if a player were coming in who you could count on to produce at the same level, that kid would be taking a pile of cash to go to some high-major. All of us have to get into the mindset of replacing the production. So you don't look at it as "who is the next Noah Reynolds," you look at it as "Where are we going to get 20 points, 7.5/14.6 FG per game, 1.3/3.7 3PT per game, 3.7 rebounds/4.5 assists/0.8 assists while adding a max of 2.7 turnovers per game on 32% usage." We all have to "Moneyball" this sh*t. Some of that void is going to be filled by returnees, some of it's going to be filled by incoming players. The solution to the equation is to find the production, not the player.

Milwaukee has one or two more open scholarships? Lovelace is a good replacement for bj freeman. To replace Reynolds in a guy like Pickett, hartle, Hammons, forte.

Listed at 6’10 and 273# per last seasons SIU team roster..….Probably the heaviest player GB has ever had.

Now we need more scoring wing guards/wing forwards. Another PG will help as well.

We're hoping Brody Robinson commits to us in the next couple days, I'm hearing it's between us and one more school. In the two years Lundy's been head coach, the player he's recruited to be our starting point guard has been injured for the year before the season started (Jordan Ratliffe in year 1, Pierce Spencer this year). It's odd to say but we haven't seen a Lundy Panther team with the player brought in to run the offense. I think the expectation is BJ's 21 ppg will come from a combination of Erik Pratt stepping up, AJ McKee and a bit of Lovelace. I don't know how much they're expecting Lovelace to be a scorer as much as a human wrecking ball. Anyways this isn't a Milwaukee board, it's the GB board so on to your new recruit: Scoring on Avila in that video. Nice. He's not going to jump out of the gym but he doesn't need to. If he plays a lot it will be because Green Bay elects for a slower pace. I see him as someone who is more of a recruit to battle Oakland and Cleveland State rather than someone to play a lot against Milwaukee or Wright State. Maybe you'll see more Cole Henry against the faster pace teams.

Looks like he'll have two years of eligibility.
Played in 31 games for the Salukis - started one. Averaged 6 points and 3.6 rebounds.
Shot 69% on FGs so obviously everything was around the basket. Did not attempt a 3 point shot.
But get this... shot a paltry 39% from the FT line on 27 of 70 shooting. The coaching staff has a challenge in front of them.
If he can play meaningful and productive minutes, a player that size can be a force in the Horizon League.

Get that FT % at least into the 60% range. This is going to be paramount if he's going to really flourish, otherwise he's gonna get hacked a lot.

Ebube is a massive man that is an offensive force in the post. There would seem to be no way this guy isn't in the rotation making an impact.
I don't know much about his defense or his ability to handle the ball.
However, he isn't some guy we have to wait two years before he can make an impact. He fills a gap in the roster and is a welcome addition on day one.

Amari Jedkins is for cornering the Lovelace and Davis. Scottie looks all 6’10 275 lbs he looks huge. Maybe to cover Brandon Noel. I disagree I think with Scottie size he has to cover fields at least a little bit he’s huge. Uwgb had no one that size last year byre and eames wern’t Antshak never even played.
