Just got my season ticket package. Looks like no more ticket exchange. Too bad as I travel a couple of hundred miles each way to attend games and can't make them all. When I do attend (which is most of the games) I almost always take extra people with me which I believe makes for better attendance.

I got my tickets as well. The Phoenix Insider Yearbook that was included was well done.
It would be a shame if they eliminated the ticket exchange, there are always a couple of games I can not make and I would exchange the tickets for another game and use it to bring along a casual fan who otherwise would not go.

As far as I know it is still in place. As fansincebuss stated, the Phoenix Insider magazine is very cool. It has a lot of interesting tidbits, like coach Wardle suggesting that Greg Mays could be the most improved player on the team.

they made u feel like it was such a hassell to do exchanges too. i figured that would come to an end. i cancelled my season tickets kowalcycks second to last year. good thing i have time warner now and i can watch more games on tv instead of internet. I normally can only make the weekend games, and exchanged extra tickets in for the people i brought to the games, who normally wouldn't go unless i got them to go to the game.
i like how they are continuing the bobbleheads, i'll be at that game for sure.

Just to clarify, ticket exchange is still in place. Season ticket holders can exchange tickets for any game other than the Marquette game this year. The reason the tickets have "No Exchange" on them is for everyone other than season ticket holders. This is a perk that is for season ticket holders only, and those individuals that purchase tickets to individual games cannot exchange unused tickets.
There was info about this in the season ticket renewal packet sent out earlier in the summer. Apologies for any confusion.
We definitely encourage you to continue to take advantage of this perk and exchange the tickets you can't use and to bring friends to the games as well.

I am a huge Green Bay fan so I am not trying to throw mud on the ticket office. I did renew a partial package again for this year over the phone. I can say with 100% confidence that the ticket office has a long way to go before I would call it a well oiled machine. I know that students help to staff the office and answer the calls so a certain level of patience is required as they build their professional skill set. However, I asked about 5 simple questions that required me to be put on hold. Will I receive a confirmation email? When will I find out my seat location? Will I have the same seat for all of games? What seats are currently available in my desired price range?
This actually leads me to a different issue with the tickets. I had a mini pack for 3 years. Each year despite crowd sizes going down my tickets were getting worse. For me I perceived no equity in my seating location as a renewing customer. It is hard to believe when you call the office they can't give you an exact seat location that you are buying. I buy season tickets for the Brewers, Bucks, and Performing Art Center in Milwaukee. When I call for tickets they tell you the exact location you can have in your price range. For some reason GB takes your money and then slots you in eventually. I drive 120 miles each way to get to the games, it is crazy to me that my purchase doesn't come with a little detail about exactly what I am buying.

thanks for the clarifications, I went out to the website and couldn't find the exchange listed out there. knowing its still available makes it real tempting to get season tickets. if i recall right, last time i got season tickets, they gave you 4, vouchers for free tickets on top of that.
18 tickets for the price of 14, and I would normally make it to 7-8 games a year, but I would always use up each ticket.
just one question, to exchange a ticket do u have to wait for the game to be played, or if u know u cant make an upcoming game, can u exchange that for a game that ur bringing an extra guest too?

In the past I have been able to exchange a future game I know I will not be able to attend for another future game. I would usually choose Milwaukee or Butler. This year I will not be able to make the game on December 22nd and will probably exchange for Detroit or Milwaukee.

You can exchange tickets before or after the game is played, I've done it both ways. I usually try to do it before the game is played, so they can re-sell the seat, but I've had to do it after a game was played when my son got sick just before the game. Great to hear the exchange program is still in place, it is an awesome perk.

Thanks for the comments about your experience with the ticketing staff. I do not directly deal with ticketing, but wanted to get back to some of the questions so I talked to a few people to get some answers.
You are correct that we do have students assisting us in our ticket office. Although there may be some questions that the student staff may not have an immediate answer to, some of the more common questions they should be able to answer immediately. Your experience is good information for us to have as we are always looking for feedback in order to make our service the best it can be.
In regards to a few of your questions, the reason we were not selecting seats immediately for new season ticket holders and Pick 5 purchases is because we were still in the process of confirming renewals and processing seat upgrades for current season ticket holders. Waiting until these processes are completed allows our staff to have a full view of the seats that are available for new season ticket and Pick 5 purchases. If we processed the orders immediately the purchasers may not get as good of seats as they possible could by waiting. We want to give the individuals purchasing packages the best seats available before seating any individual game orders.
Last thing, we still give the four vouchers for tickets with the purchase of season tickets. They are called flex tickets in the packet season ticket holders receive.
Thanks, Andrew
