Well the season is weeks away from starting and I cant wait any longer so I figured I'd start a predictions thread to get some chatter going. I'll put my game by game predictions as well as Horizon League predictions.

March
2 Valparaiso W 21-9 12-4
Might be wishful thinking, but I believe that if we play to our potential this record is within reach.
Horizon League Predictions:
1. Valpo
2. Green Bay
3. Detroit
4. Cleveland State
5. Youngstown
6. Milwaukee
7. Loyola
8. Wright St
9. UIC
Player of the Year: Alec Brown- Green Bay
Coach of the Year: Brian Wardle- Green Bay
DPOY: Damian Eargle- Youngstown St
Newcomer: Cully Payne- Loyola
First Team:
Ray McCallum- Detroit
Kendrick Perry- YSU
Alec Brown- GB
Ryan Broekhoff- Valpo
Anton Grady- Cleveland St
Second Team:
Ben Averkamp- Loyola
Kiefer Sykes- GB
Damian Eargle- YSU
Kevin Van Wijk- Valpo
Doug Anderson- Detroit
Probably looking at it thru homer eyes but those are my picks and I'm stickinwith them. I really think Alec Brown can up his averages even more this year now that teams have to focus on other players. I think he'll up his shooting percentages to around 50% with the added weight he's put on (up around 230) and average around 16pts 9rebs 3blks.
Feel free to critique and criticize my guesses as well as post your own. Just trying to get some pre season hype going for the Nix!
