Milwaukee has been playing with fire most of the conference season. 6 of their conference wins were by 5 points or less. Fans should celebrate regardless how well or not well the other team played. Maybe some of Mikwaukees bad D was because of the play from the guys. They didn't seem to have an answer for DZ all night, regardless of what he was doing. He could dribble drive and get into the paint anytime he wanted.
Send an APB out on all the kitty kat "fans" that have been radio silent. Milwaukee talked alot of junk and got what they deserved last night IMO

One other note, a great thing to see was how invested all the guys were and how much fun it looked like they were having. Too many times we see them just look dejected the entire game and the bench has no energy. I don't blame them as its impossible to when getting beat by 25. However, for everything theyve went through this year, it was great to see them have that moment last night.

Can someone tell me where our UWM friend is in on this thread today? In December he was all over the thread coming in here to talk shit and now hes no where to be found. No surprise that man can only talk when ahead. We're still ahead. If the season ended today we'd be the 2 seed based on our sweep of NKU. It's very heartwarming to know that your team has their best victory on the season against their archrival and your first thoughts are of me. I'm touched, really. Send an APB out on all the kitty kat "fans" that have been radio silent. Milwaukee talked alot of junk and got what they deserved last night IMO Contrary to what you might think, getting on your message board wasn't a priority for me. If we 'deserved' it, probably. We got cocky from being in first place years ahead of schedule. Nothing like getting punched in the mouth to bring you back to Earth! I didn't get home until after 11 pm last night. Stayed at Major Goolsby's to talk to a bunch of people, including GB superfans Brian Dickmann and Jim Sarow. Very encouraging news regarding GB's head coaching search. Our team's been really disjointed since beating YSU a couple weeks ago. I think being in first place got to their heads. Still, we should have won last night - simply fouling Ziegler after he crossed half court at the end of regulation would have sent him to the line for two shots with us being up three. But we also shouldn't have been in that position at all. Careless ball-handling, questionable shot selection, and playing a bunch of guys who don't play much put us in position to give up that three. I'd mention some bad calls by refs but we all know how bad these refs have been and I don't think it affected the outcome of the game. Oh well. Congratulations Phoenix, let's do this again sometime.

Too many times we see them just look dejected the entire game and the bench has no energy. I don't blame them as its impossible to when getting beat by 25. However, for everything theyve went through this year, it was great to see them have that moment last night. I have said this before and I stand by. The bench has come with energy almost every game this year. It is hard to keep it going all game long as the lead continues to widen. It just isn't cool to be going nuts when your team is down 15+ with 8 minutes left or whatever. Yet in most situations they come right back with some energy at the opening tip of the next game. Last night they played well enough to keep that energy up to the final horn. No doubt the bench made a difference and kept giving more and more juice to the guys on the court. Something else that happened was some of the UWM players and a portion the courtside crowd definitely were getting into with the guys all night. It actually became a unifying force for GB in a weird way. Instead of pointing fingers at each other or questioning a coach as things slipped, the team seemed unified around being a band of brothers in enemy territory. I don't know if I would say GB got lucky from deep last night. They only shot 38% from deep which for them is amazing but lucky would be 50% or something like that. They just took a boatload of 3's which is how they scored so much on what is only a good but not great percentage of makes. I do realize CC3 banked one in at a pretty big moment. However, PFW sent GB packing in the 2021 Horizon League Tournament on a similar play so lets just say the luck has evened out. Overall this was just one game. In this season it was the game to get for sure. In future years we should be a unified position with a great coach and building a program that is going for 23 plus wins and not 3 plus wins. I don't think that is impossible or even improbable.

Another thing to see is that GB was able to get under UWMs skin and get them rattled. From what it sounds like heffner did a great job of this last night. He forced that technical on Rand. Quite the wild move for that scumbag thinking he was cool dunking 5 seconds after the whistle. Then I am hearing Freeman came after heffner in the tunnel. It would be cool to see more of this with how hard heffner plays. Just hard for him to really bother anyone when we are down 25. Also, I am not surprised to see him easily get UWM rattled. Somethings never change with them and they will always be losers.

A quote from the Milwaukee news paper today really got me fired up. "It goes back to our edge, how I prepared them. We didn’t have the edge we usually have," said coach Bart Lundy after a lengthy and animated meeting with his players following the loss. "Maybe having IUPUI and Green Bay at this point in the season isn’t good for us. That’s on you man, you can’t get the team fired up. Green Bay whooped your ass just admit it. I can’t wait till this hire is complete and we continue wiping the floor against Fart Lundy and company

If you can't get fired up for your rival then you got some major problems. Also, we have all witnessed GB coming out hot in the first half and getting bullied in the second half. There was plenty of time to figure it out but they couldn't. Hopefully we can see a nice early exit in the horizon league tournament from them

Does anyone know if Brayden Dailey would be eligible for a medical redshirt given his injuries and the amount he has played this year?

I was powering up on Panthers tears this afternoon and cruised through their message board. Someone posted a stat about how their program is better and they chose to start from a really good point in time for them that also came 10 years after a golden era for GB. I did my own research, all Panthers fans should know I am posting here to avoid clogging up your board with this.
Since the 2013-14 season UWM is 10-6 in the Horizon League Tournament and their only post season appearance was one NCAA tournament. They also managed to not qualify for the tournament once and had an APR ban on post season play.
Green Bay in that time is 8-8 in the Horizon League Tournament. They managed to go to the NCAA tournament once, the NIT twice, the CIT finals once and the CBI. GB had no post season bans and did qualify for every horizon league tournament. GB also had someone not related to head coach get drafted in the NBA while two others played in the NBA and two others made it to the G League. GB also won a game that got their coach fired and pretty much blew up their program for the next 6 years as they continued to fight about that firing.
Case closed!

If we are doing the selective choice thing, it absolutely is compared to UWM in that time period. Let's do D1 history then. GB has had a better program, one sweet 16 be damned.

All but one team receive a HLT loss every year, assuming they qualify or don't have an academic ban...
The good teams actually get fewer wins because they are seeded higher and play fewer games.
Milwaukee had 7 of their wins trying to come through the full bracket due to poor regular season performances.
I better stretch out I might hurt myself flexing over the UWM program 😂
