After Will Ryan is relived of his duties as head coach next year after another single digit win season who would you like to see Green Bay go after?
My vote is someone who will go after players who can shoot however raw they might be otherwise.

It’s only year three, and none of them even count because he came in during the pandemic! We haven’t even scratched the surface of what this brilliant mind can do! He copies principles from the most potent offense in the basketball world, so SURELY nothing can be his fault! Nepotism doesn’t win games. I’d say leave him in Jamaica but that would be too rewarding. Leave him in Atlanta on their layover back to Green Bay.

Without doing any sort of research on the topic, Joe Krabbenhoft would be a good coach, I think

I mentioned this in a thread last year, but I believe the long-term plan is we wait for Will's 3 young boys to reach college-age and hope that we get a Dick Bennett >>> Tony Bennett kind of thing going.

After what happened on the football team don't you think that just maybe Gard might be on the hot seat this year and Krabenhoff would probably would be a candidate for that job?

If you posters are real Phoenix fans you should be ashamed of yourselves for contributing to a thread like this.
Losing sucks but setting a tone of giving up after 4 games is going to create more losing.
Be part of the solution and not the problem.

Correction giving up after two years and four games of seeing the same thing on repeat over and over. What gives you any reason to believe things will turn around? There’s being positive and there’s being realistic. The writings on the wall here and if was a program with any sort of budget Ryan would be gone this year. Instead we have to wait Until his contract expires.

What we say has no bearing on what they do. Fans have a right to be frustrated with what we’ve seen on the court.

Wouldn’t joe krabenhoff run the same kind of offense? The offense is not the problem. People making dumb decisions, throwing it right to the other team, and people not making open shots is the problem.

The sad reality is that Will Ryan is not going anywhere anytime soon. As much as i would like to see this disaster end, we are going to have to deal with it. Its amazing that the program had a problem with Linc Darner finishing top half of the horizon every year, so lets just bring in a guy to finish bottom 3. Lets hope we are all wrong and he can somehow turn it around but it isnt promising with them continuing to get worse each year.

Two things that make this type of talk silly at this time.
1. Let's just say they made a change when the plane lands in the USA. They aren't hiring a new coach until the spring. The replacement would just be one of the existing coaches who will likely be coaching the same thing.
2. Lots of the lurkers on this board are players, family or friends of players and people in the athletic department. So you aren't venting without it directly reaching the people who need the support.
I've posted it in two different threads already. Scream your head off in March if things don't get better.

If that’s true it should be bulletin board material to fire them up to want to prove us wrong. We live in a age of everyone wanting to be handed everything instead of earning it. You want positive support? Earn it. You think Dick Bennett would be accepting and supportive of what’s happening with this program? Do you think Bo Ryan would give his players a Pat on the back and say you guys are trying your best so it’s all gonna be okay! Let’s have some orange slices and Capri Suns after the game! This should be a results based business. And let’s face it the NCAA is now that a business. I don’t like it but it means people need to put up or shut up.

I honestly don't think a coaching change is the solution, unless you were able to hire some lightning-rod coach with massive reputation and name-recognition. A guy who would be able to recruit stars by his name alone. We know that cannot happen within the constraints of our budget. My concern though is that we are developing a systemic culture of repetitive losing, not unlike the Detroit Lions franchise. Of course it is hard to snap out of that, but even more now with the easy-transfer portal thing. Better teams get better and stay better, and weaker teams stay weak within this environment. Remember how awful the Wisconsin football team used to be? Barry Alvarez finally got it turned around and righted the ship. I want to believe that our first halves have been legit - but man we need to get that 2nd half nonsense figured out, and prevent 18-2 scoring runs. Maybe it was because I was sitting 18 inches away from my computer screen watching this game, but I thought Coach Ryan looked a bit pale and under the weather when they zoomed in on him. Obviously this isn't any fun for him either.

Earning positive support is fine.
However, there is a middle ground you skipped past. You could just say nothing. You went straight to blow up the season posting and I think that's gross. I think if nothing else the guys on the team deserve better than that.
