I gotta think its gonna be Jarvis Williams or Cole Stefan.
Anyone think there will be any turnover on the roster after the season? I'm guessing probably not, but maybe Heuer or Johnson? Johnson has already transferred once though.

Any thoughts on the remaining scholarship? Cole Stefan? Jarvis Williams? Other? Aaric Armstead Johnny Woodard We should gain some clarity on the Jarvis Williams situation sometime this week. Woodard was a heavy St Louis lean, they were just waiting to see his shoulder healthy. Minnesota may have gotten involved in the meantime. Haven't seen any Aaric Armstead news since he moved to California. However, I doubt the Phoenix would look to add another SF type in the same class as Fouse. If the Nix do add another player, I'd think it would be a PG. Very few quality PGs available. Jermaine Myers is still an option. If not a PG, maybe an athletic PF type would fit too. We haven't has much news about the prep school program at St Johns, but I'd think the Nix have tracked the talent there. PG Jacoby Davis is an intriguing player with excellent speed. The back-up PG there, Quinn Williams, was Daniel Turners PG in HS. I'd love to have Jarvis Williams back next year. I thought he was going to be our 2nd best player this year before the injury derailed him.

WIAA Playoff brackets came out today. No surprise that Nick Arenz and Onalaska are a #1 seed and heavily favored to make it to state in Division 2. However, Onalaska is the #1 ranked team in the state in D2 and the 2nd ranked team, Rice Lake, is in their regional. In Division 3, Jordan Fouse and Racine St Catherine's are a 2 seed. St Cat's is ranked #10 in the state in D3 and have three other top 15 ranked teams in their sectional, #6 Omro, #11 Marshall, and #12 Sheboygan Falls.

Demovsky's article from today's newspaper indicates GB will be honoring seniors Steve Baker, Jarvis Williams and Eric Valentin. Does that mean there will be no medical red shirt for Williams.
I would love to find a way to keep both Stefan and Williams. A healthy Williams playing under control could help this team next year.

Love commits to GB!!: Link to Demovsky's announcementGoes to show what I know about roster makeup. I really like CL's ability to break down and create, and is very good in the open court. If he and Sykes are on the floor together, leaves them very short on the defensive end, so their minutes together may be dictacted by matchups-or perhaps, it forces other teams to go even smaller to keep up with them. Can never have enough playmakers! Edit: His game vs Wis Lutheran was on Time Warner32 last night, and it appears it will be replayed at 7:00 tonite

The Nix are showing interest in Pius PG Carrington Love. He's has very good quickness and really attacks the basket. No offer yet. Time Warner Sports 32 has been running replays of last fridays Milwaukee Pius game versus Waukesha West. Feel free to check him out, I'm sure they'll make this game available on-demand shortly too. This game is presently available on Time Warner's Wisconsin On Demand channel. Welcome to Green Bay Carrington! He is explosive with good arm length, and scores at a high average without taking bad shots.

Here is Mark Miller's write-up on Love's commitment at Wissports. Here's a highlight video from the Pius/Vincent overtime game earlier this year. Love is #12 in the white jersey. Love had 26 in a losing effort.

From the different videos i have watched of Love's i must say that for a young player, his court vision is quite impressive and looks to make the assist as much as score. Im excited to have him be a phoenix.

Here's Rob Demovsky's story today on new recruit Carrington Love. Love is a very intriguing latebloomer. When he was a freshman, he was just 5'3", now he's 6'1". Love expresses a desire to play along side Sykes. Trevon Harmon has logged a ton of minutes in this conference as a 6'1" shooting guard. Love will need to get stronger to make this an option for himself.

Just my quick take on Love. I like what he said and I like that he is a playmaker. Based on what I saw I would say he is crafty and an average athlete. He seemed to have a good handle with both hands. I thought he used the hesitation dribble, cross over and jump stop pretty well to score because he didn't seem "lightning quick" with the ball.
Fouse is a stat stuffer, it should be interesting to see if it translates to D1. I was talking to someone who wasn't a Fouse fan and they thought he only had 1 primary offensive move (two right hand dribbles and then cross to the left) and was also having issues off the court. Not sure what to make of either of those comments, just curious if anyone has heard the same.
