Lorenz has the look and feel of a guy who will be very good at the mid major level after a year of college development.
GB is actively recruiting several guys in the class of 2023. Lorenz has the first offer, he is definitely a guy I want to see develop in Phoenix colors.

I watched him during there state tournament run. He’s a beast. Uwgb has a good young big rotation. But I feel like coach Ryan wants to keep the top prospects in Wisconsin and he is would add to to what uwgb has he would be a what if they don’t get him. They have seemed to done have good amount of due diligence on him already.

A player of his ability right in GB's backyard is an absolute must get IMO. He brings a lot to the table and will be an impact player in the Horizon as his body fills out.
I like the vibe around the team right now, hopefully it helps him commit to GB!

It’s a good point as long as players doing keep transferring like the bigs heffner, meyer, and short if they lose any of those guys to transfer then uwgb will recruit jeremy harder.

With offers from woford, st. thomas, and South Dakota state. If uwgb gets him in my opinion with Cade Meyer being a junior it could be a necessity. Cade Meyer is uwgbs best big man right now. Donovan and Brock will be good and so will be amari. Then who else is left in the future hopefully Jeremy. Coach Ryan when he first came to uwgb said he wanted to put a fence around Wisconsin getting Wisconsin prospects he’s done better then the darner coaching staff at that. Jeremy is important in the Wisconsin 2023 Wisconsin recruiting cycle because of small amount bigs there are lots guards and wings.

I don't know what Lorenz plans to do but it is clear there is only one team that has made him a priority from very early on. Some of the others have a little more mid major sizzle right now but that is about to change with the guys GB has in.
Also, Wofford has been having a lot of roster turnover as well under their new coach. That could be something to watch as they continue to recruit in WI.

He has been GB’s hoops priority for several years. Let’s hope it pays off.

Not the first recruit we have lost to Wofford.

Good for him, as a GB fan I'm disappointed.
Thankfully GB has some solid frontcourt players on the roster, this still is tough news for the coaches.
There are still several good players in WI to recruit.

GB has a really good group of skilled young bigs already. Focus should be on finding quality PGs.

Some how, some way Wofford has had success in Wisconsin. Real damn frustrating.
Good Luck to Jeremy but time to move on.
