There is a player from Wauwatosa East high school named Leon Bond who is pretty good. I see some mid major and high major activity around his name.
I have come to the conclusion that no player is more suited to commit to GB than Leon Bond. The last time I checked the Kress Events Center is located on Leon Bond Drive. While some may see this as a coincidence I see this as a calling. A player so good that that a campus street will already be named after him once his career is done!!

Ones gotta think that the staff will want multiple players from this loaded 2022 class.
Currently the only offers we know right now are for Short and Paveletzke. A new approach this staff is taking compared to what the last staff did. Quality over quantity

John Lovelace Jr committed to Youngstown State today and Robert Morris offered 2022 guard Learic Davis. Both players out of Wisconsin.
Really would like to know what Green Bay is waiting on with these two remaining scholarships we have.
Are they just waiting to hit the transfer portal shopping?

Toledo offered a 6'7' player out of Eau Claire Memorial from the 2022 class.

Good to see other teams have easily scaled the “fence” that was supposedly put around Wisconsin.

Good to see other teams have easily scaled the “fence” that was supposedly put around Wisconsin. They have three stud WI freshman and Short but I guess they don't count. Lovelace and Davis are interesting players but are light on current D1 offers. Though I think some more are coming for Davis. Wells has no D1 offers other than Toledo and TK has never landed a WI kid despite being at Toledo for 12 years. It's almost like he offers WI kids to keep his name relevant in WI but has no plans to follow up. Talking smack about GB's high school recruiting is far from the problem. They can't get skunked in the portal again.

I just wish I knew what the plan was in the future to make this team better. High School recruiting has been phenomenal but this team needs players now to supplement them.
Coach Ryan absolutely struck out in the portal this year. Can’t do that again.

Certainly there are things you can gripe about with the current coach and coaching staff but I don't think high school recruiting is one of them. It's actually something this staff has done really well so far. McGee and Meyer are instant contributors and maybe all-conference caliber guys, Dailey is going to contribute right away next season, and Short is the highest regarded recruit GB has had in decades.
So I don't think it's fair to say that other teams are "scaling the fence" when GB didn't offer Lovelace and haven't offered Davis or Wells. Sure they missed out on Max Nelson from Appleton North (Valpo) and Jackson Paveletzke from Kimberly (Wofford) but landing Short was a big get. You're not going to get them all, for some reason sometimes kids want to leave Wisconsin to go to college.
