Why would we get a kick out of this? Wardle would be a great hire for them. Luckily I doubt they'd realize that yet. I understand Brian won't be here long, I just hope he stays a couple more years. Long enough to establish Green Bay as a mid-major power, and for him to make the jump to a high-major. Once players start to look at Green Bay, the outstanding facilities here will make their true impact.

Is it just me or would this be a backwards move? Why would Wardle spend three years building up a program and then leave right before it pays off for him?
If GB makes the jump we all expect over the next two years, Wardle will get offers from really good mid-majors or bad major programs. The thing that makes me nervous is everytime I thought the team was about to turn the corner with Kowalczuk they finished 3rd in the conference. I feel Wardle is a much better coach, but I will always be uneasy until they're back in the Dance.
