In the end, all three players from that great team at Stevens Point don’t even finish all four years at either school. Crazy stuff!

This is wild, I'm very surprised. So many thoughts in my head. A falling out with Wojo? Seeing Herro get NBA exposure and them not so much? Wanting to win a tournament game or make a deep run?
I am beyond curious to see where they go. Virginia?

Maybe they want to play closer to home in GB 😂

You have to think if Wojo has another year without a NCAA tournament win, he is a goner. Shoot this Marquette team may not even make the tournament.

Not sure where they could go that would be an upward move? UVA and Michigan state are being tossed around as possibilities, but who knows. They certainly would not be centerpieces at either of those schools. Wojo doesn’t seem to be very popular at MU, and from my own info, neither he, nor their teammates even knew they were leaving literally until this morning.
This also makes me appreciate how drama-free this program is in comparison to other schools. Sure, some of us call for Linc's head after a tough loss, but we rarely hear about guys that are locker room cancers, our coaches seem to be competent and seem to have decent relationships with their players, etc... The MU board is a literal dumpster-fire right now, and I'm glad we don't have to put up with that all the time.

YayPhoenixYay, I enjoy your posts and enthusiam but you're dead wrong about there being no drama.
How about an offseason where 2 players leave the program after domestic issues, another player grad transfers to Xavier with a full year of eligibilty left, and another player decides to transfer and after said announcement decides to burn the UWGB flag and post the demonstration to social media. Add to that a promising JUCO player that never makes it to GB due to eligibilty issues. That all happened here at GB just 2 years ago.
The program has somewhat righted itself from that mess but there's still a lot of work that needs to be done to reverse that disastrous off season of 2017.

Ha the good side. There’s no such thing when talking about either of those schools 😂.

The Hauser brothers ending up in Wisconsin would be a kick in the pants for the recruiting momentum that MU has had in state.
Honestly that would be a really lucky get for Wisconsin. How can the Badgers have so many open scholarships this late in the recruiting cycle? If you have a tenured coach this is the time to fill a gap not a roster. As was mentioned in a different thread when the Brown twins, Kanter, Anderson and the JUCO guy from Chicago/Florida didn't make it to the next season that did put a damper on momentum in GB. Yes getting the Hauser brothers would help UW a lot but by the same token it doesn't help this year and they have a lot of holes to fill.
I get excited waiting for the demise of the UW basketball, is the current state of the roster the beginning of putting the Bad in Badgers if they don't get the Hauser boys?

Well, besides our little pennant burner, none of these instances were reflective of internal program conflict. That is the key difference here.
